Cub Cadet Adds Another Step Up With Commercial-Grade Residential Zero-Turn
Ultima Series ZTX delivers enhanced strength and durability for the most challenging conditions
Cleveland, OH – Building on the groundbreaking launch of the Ultima Series residential zero-turn lawn mowers, Cub Cadet announced another step up in the ultimate all-around mowing experience. The Ultima Series ZTX adds a commercial-grade residential zero-turn to the product lineup, delivering enhanced strength and durability to operators so they can comfortably cut at maximum speeds and tackle challenges on every acre.
The Ultima ZTX focuses on strength, longevity, comfort and versatility.
- Strength on deck: Built on a 1.5- by 3-inch tubular frame and featuring a 10-gauge steel fabricated AeroForce Max™ deck with side, top and leading-edge reinforcements, users are equipped with the right amount of strength and rigidity for consistent cut quality.
- Built-in longevity: The commercial-grade Kohler® and Kawasaki® engines are backed by a strong 4-year/500-hour warranty, including a limited lifetime warranty on the deck shell and frame, and more than 1,600 dealers nationwide to ensure the extended lifetime of the machine.
- Command with comfort: An automotive-class, high-back seat in 20- or 24-inch options with padded armrests and seat suspension options adds to overall operator comfort. Isolated front caster suspension on select models delivers a smooth and quiet ride up to 9 mph with less vibration than other zero-turns.
- Endless versatility: With a lineup of premium attachments and LED headlights as well as standard roll over protection, and rear tow hitch, users can build the perfect zero-turn to tackle all of their needs.
- Superior bagging performance: The new AeroForce Max™ deck unique design leverages the mechanical throw of the blades, allowing for superior flow of grass through the large 9-inch diameter boot. Grass is thrown directly up into the larger-capacity bags, reducing clumping and resulting in completely full bags.
“The Ultima ZTX is a natural addition to our award-winning Ultima Series and brings a premium residential zero-turn option to our customers who regularly mow several acres or more,” said Trevor Oriold, business segment director, Cub Cadet. “With enhanced strength, improved durability and added comfort, the ZTX line of zero-turn mowers provides the ultimate step up for users to operate in the most challenging conditions.”
The Ultima ZTX is available in three trim levels, including the ZTX4, ZTX5 and ZTX6, which come equipped with increasingly powerful engines, transmissions, upgraded seats and independent front caster suspension. Each trim level includes 48-, 54- and 60-inch deck sizes.
Additionally, the Ultima Series ZTX comes standard with:
- Durable, advanced polymer seat suspension
- A rubber floor mat to dampen vibrations
- Industry-exclusive overmolded hand grips
- Removable floor pan for easy deck access
- 17 quarter-inch deck height adjustments, including transport mode
