At Lanier Outdoor Equipment we strive to meet the needs of every customer that comes in our doors. Whether they need a small part, a piece of equipment repaired or a brand new Cub Cadet we will do everything we can to help.
In 1944, my great-grandfather opened, Moss Equipment, a farm equipment dealership in Buford, Georgia. For nearly 60 years and four generations, my family sold and serviced North Georgia in all of their equipment needs. In the beginning, it was all farm equipment as the area was mostly rural and people around here still depended on farming as a way of life. Over the years the demographics changed as did the equipment, moving from large farm tractors to small compact tractors and lawn and garden equipment. The one thing that hasn't changed is that people always want honest, dependable service at a reasonable price. They also want to be treated fairly and respectably. I am happy to say that I've taken all of the knowledge and business skills gained from years of working side by side with my family and now apply them as part of my business practices at Lanier Outdoor Equipment.
I'm proud that the first Cub garden tractor and the first Husqvarna chainsaw sold in Georgia were through my family's business, but I'm even prouder of the fact that we can still service and sell parts for these models at Lanier Outdoor Equipment. Under a different name, we are still standing behind our products more than 60 years later. How many companies can say that?
