Since its launch in 2015, the Cub Cadet® XT Enduro Series™ has delivered a 5-star mowing experience. When we took our XT2 line under the microscope last year, our goal was simple: We wanted to make the best lawn tractor even better. Here’s how we did it.
The new XT2 Enduro Series line is the result of direct feedback from more than 900 consumers. We did extensive consumer research when we first launched line in 2015, but we wanted to make sure that our enhancements were addressing customer needs. It was clear that that reliability, versatility, a premium cut and overall comfort ranked at the top for must haves when buying a lawn tractor.
When it comes to reliability and versatility the rider batteries and engine play a key role. One of the most common complaints of lawn tractor owners is a drained or malfunctioning battery after improper winter storage, so we wanted to make sure this pain point was addressed. Each model is equipped with an AGM battery. These batteries stand up well to low temperatures to deliver reliable starting for when you use your lawn tractor in colder seasons. AGM batteries also have a low self-discharge, so they can sit in storage longer without needing to be recharged.
In addition, every XT2 model is powered by a strong twin-cylinder Kawasaki™ or Kohler™ engine. These engines provide stronger starting in cold weather, making it easier for you to use your lawn tractor for more than just cutting grass. And year-round attachments, like a snow plow, are available to maximize the versatility of your Cub Cadet XT2 lawn tractor.
Durability is another way we made the XT2s reliable with front end protection standard. Every model includes either front bumper or a brush guard. And each model is backed by a strong, 3-year no hour limit warranty, a 5-year frame warranty and lifetime limited fabricated deck shell warranty.
Consumers want a lawn tractor that delivers a premium cut day in and day out, every single time. That’s why each XT2 model is equipped with our proprietary AeroForce™ fabricated deck, delivering cutting performance that’s been tested to deliver a best-in-class cut. The AeroForce fabricated deck also comes standard with a limited lifetime deck shell warranty.
Last but not least we focused on delivering a the most comfortable experience possible. Each XT2 comes standard with an adjustable cut and sew high back seat, armrests and a SoftTouch™ steering wheel allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. We also kept many of the things that were critically important to the XT2 line, like TurfMaster™ tires and ball bearings for increased durability and enhanced traction.
