Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Cub Cadet® Product Review Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by MTD Products Company, P.O. Box 368022, Cleveland, Ohio, 44136 (“Sponsor”). This sweepstakes is administered by Bazaarvoice, 10901 Stonelake Blvd, Austin, TX 78759 and ViralSweep LLC, 799 Peck Lane Cheshire, CT 06410 (collectively the “Administrators”). This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and by related decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding.

Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is FREE to enter and open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry (“you” and/or “Entrant”). Employees of MTD Products Company, and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, dealers, distributors, licensees or agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and all such employee’s immediate family members and those living in the same household of each such employee, are not eligible to enter or win. Void outside the United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Promotion Period: The Promotion Period for this Sweepstakes begins on 8/1/2020 at 12:01AM (ET) and ends on 10/31/2021 at 11:59PM (ET) (“Promotion Period”).

Number of Possible Sweepstakes Entries ("Entry") per person: One Entry per person per Entry Period is permitted for a total of fifteen (15) potential Entries during the Promotion Period. Each Winner, however, may only win one (1) Prize. Therefore, while each additional Entry may improve your chances of winning, Entries of any Entrant previously selected as a Winner in this Sweepstakes will be deemed invalid.

NOTE: Sweepstakes Entries based on product reviews must be those of current model Cub Cadet products featured on www.cubcadet.com during the Promotion Period. Cub Cadet generators and pressure washers are not included as products to be reviewed for this promotion. Entries based on Cub Cadet generators and pressure washers are void and will not be entered in this Sweepstakes.

How to Enter: 

During the Promotion Period, 1) visit https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/cub-review-sweepstakes.html (the "Sweepstakes Site"), 2) Follow the online instructions to complete the entry form presented, and 3) submit a product review (minimum 50 characters) in accordance with these Official Rules for the Cub Cadet product you own.  If the product review is submitted and approved (at Sponsor's sole discretion) it will be entered into the Sweepstakes ('Entry'). You may enter one Entry per person per Entry Period, but you can only win one (1) Prize per person per household.

OR enter without making a purchase or providing a product review: You may also enter the Sweepstakes by visiting https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/cub-review-sweepstakes.html (the "Sweepstakes Site") and following the online instructions to complete the alternative method of entry form presented.

NOTE: Entries that do not include all the required information and/or do not adhere to these Official Rules, at Sponsor's sole discretion, will be void and will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected or incomplete Entries. Once submitted, you may not change, modify, alter, delete or substitute for your Entry.

Prize: No Prize substitutions will be made by the request of a Winner unless Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines to do so. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part with another Prize of comparable or greater value for any reason in Sponsor’s sole discretion. A Prize must be accepted as awarded. Under no circumstances will more than fifteen (15) total Prizes be awarded. Sponsor will award fifteen (15) prizes as follows:

Fifteen (15) Prizes will be awarded. The Approximate Retail Value of each Prize is $100.00. Each Prize is comprised of one (1) $100.00 Visa Gift Card
 

The Total Approximate Retail Value of all Prizes in this Sweepstakes is $1,500.00.
 

Winner Selection: Sponsor will randomly select one (1) winner at the conclusion of the Entry Period from all eligible entries.  If you are selected as a winner, you will be notified by email. If you do not respond to the email notification of your selection as a winner within three (3) days to claim your prize, an alternate winner may be selected to receive the prize at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Contacted winners must respond by email with the following information: 1) first and last name, 2) street address, and 3) telephone number.

Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all applicable fees, federal, state and local taxes and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of Prize. Winner is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of accepting a Prize. Sponsor will not award any prize without winner first submitting a fully and legibly completed and accurate IRS W-9 form, and the winner of any prize valued at six hundred dollars ($600.00) or more will be issued an IRS 1099 MISC form in the amount equal to the retail value of the prize.  Winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility prior to Sponsor awarding the prize.

Acceptance of any prize constitutes winner's permission for the Sponsor to use the winner's name, photograph, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and complete address (collectively, the "Attributes"), for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, without further compensation or authorization, and releases the Released Parties from all claims arising out of the use of such Attributes.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Disputes: Sponsor’s decisions are and shall be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. If a prize notification or a prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash, and winner may not elect to substitute one prize for another. If necessary, a prize of equal or greater value may be awarded at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Entries that are lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or incompletely received for any reason, will not be eligible.  Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect, mistranscribed, misdirected or undeliverable entries, incorrect announcements of any kind, or for any technical or logistical mishaps or difficulties that in any way affect the outcome of this Sweepstakes or award of the prize.  Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant and/or individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision provided herein.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate this Sweepstakes if Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein including without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, insufficient number of eligible participants or technical failure.

General Release/Governing Law: By entering, all entrants release and waive any claim they may have against MTD Products Company and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, distributors, dealers and agencies and their respective successors and assigns for injuries, claims, damages or losses, costs or expenses of any kind resulting from acceptance of or possession of or arising out of use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof or from participation in this Sweepstakes. Upon entering this Sweepstakes, entrants authorize the use of their contact information for notification of winnings and as described in the Cub Cadet Privacy Policy found at www.cubcadet.com, including updates made from time to time. If at any time you do not wish to continue receiving information from MTD Products Company or you would like to withdraw the personal information you have previously disclosed, please visit www.cubcadet.com and follow the procedures in the CHOICE section of the Privacy Policy.  Winner’s name and image may be utilized by MTD Products Company as it deems appropriate and all entrants authorize the use of their name and image by MTD Products Company accordingly. Acceptance of any prize constitutes prize winner’s permission for Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s designees to use winner’s name and home city and state for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, without further compensation or authorization (except where prohibited by law), and releases Sponsor from all claims arising out of such use. Liability for any applicable federal, state or other taxes or fees will be the sole responsibility of the winner. This drawing is governed by the laws of the state of Ohio.
